Grand hotel had darker colours, and were here under renovation Later photos show that Grand hotel had been painted white, and a few years after it also had a new facade like the one today.
The Magnus block (yellow) was the only wooden building here, and was later rebuilt. The Royal Castle are painted yellow, like it is today.
